An emerging one world church is on the rise to complement the rise of a global community.
Everywhere we look there are signs of change.
In the political arena, the church, the financial
and business institutions and in our daily lives
we see the uncertainty. We can no longer just
accept what is said at face value but need to be
even more vigilant as we await the coming of our
Lord. This is the end time.
This video presents a synopsis of ways in which
some subtile changes are being introduced into
President Barak Obama during a June 2007 speech.
Creating a Comfortable God for Amercia
1Peter 1: 16
“Be ye holy for I am holy.”
The desire of the heart of a believer should be to be like the Father: holy.
1Peter 1: 15
”But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation”
We are called to be holy in our conversation, meaning our conduct. Even though falling short of His holiness always seems to be a problem that is the ultimate goal. That is mine and I know that is the desire of many. To those of us who long to be like Him, we are being changed daily as we walk with Him in an apostate church arena in a backslidden nation. Trusting in the Holy Spirit as He speaks to us according to His Word is our only hope. We can add nothing to salvation through the cross of Jesus Christ and his instructions to us written in His holy Word. This is the end times so there are many who try.
As noted by the contents of our president’s statement above, American society is looking more like ancient Babylon all of the time. It seems we have attempted to build a new tower to replace faith in Jesus Christ. Even though we are still considered earthly leaders in the world by many, the fabric of our society has eroded and we are on the verge of going the way of ancient Babylon. Many once helped to build our nation in hopes of worshipping Jesus Christ in freedom. What was somehow built over time is crumbling before our eyes. We now speak many
spiritual languages so some believe we can’t communicate without compromising
the gospel, done in the antichrist spirit of unity.
A global scene is on the rise. The emerging one world church is scrambling to rewrite our Christian faith making it a conglomerate with new revelations, false doctrines, promises of dominion, and, as stated, this false unity created by compromising pure doctrine contained only in the Word of God. It does not seem to matter how you believe in God as long as you are willing to join this ecumenical body in the cause of unity. Within the recent past, we now have a branch of those calling themselves Christians who have begun to welcome the Muslim into the body of Christ laying the Quran next to the Bible in some churches. Called Chrislam, this is a rather new attempt at unity in an apostate church. Laying personal beliefs aside, the worldwide false church will build a new “virtual tower” so that we may all reach up to heaven regardless of our affiliations: a created one world church poised to be run by the False Prophet promoting the Antichrist.
There are churches on every corner. Our overly religious people are like the rebellious children of Israel of old as we strive to create a more comfortable church environment by assimilating into our churches the worldly culture around us. In one emergent group, we want a comfortable place in which to worship. We are adopting into the church a worldly front to appeal to the many. It seems like we are in competition with the world to produce a product that we can sell to the masses. To put God in a good light, some are ready and willing to compromise basic doctrine to curtail the criticism and be found “politically correct”. The emergent church’s compromising, some believe, is good because it will save the
church and society. “The church” replaces the gospel as the answer for mankind.
Other very different Christian-named ministries are offering the believer wonderful
yet unscriptural “candy” to sweeten their walk: prosperity, dreams, visions, dominion, “a touch”, prophetic words, empowerment…just to name a few. If they
have a false scriptural foundation, they are false period. The false promises of
spiritual candy have not prepared these believers for any possible persecution.
For the most part, these are dominionists. In the broad scope of Dominion Theology, as we obtain more areas of influence, the world is going to get better because we have worked to prepare it for the return of Jesus Christ. They believe that the world cannot witness His return until we have prepared it first to receive Him: done by taking over power and establishing His Kingdom. Any event that would challenge this coming utopia, rendering it seemingly impossible, could leave the errant believer dazed like a deer in the headlights. Signs and wonders, appearing as miracles, coming along could cause this group to accept anything regardless of the source of these miracles. They are conditioned to think that if it is supernatural, it must be of God. New events would call for new revelations and we could assume by this there would be new “words” from prophets and leaders.
We know that perilous times are upon us and the world's situation is going to deteriorate until the second coming and not get better as some would lead us to believe. Regardless of the reason for an individual’s apostasy, a one world church would provide the answers for someone seeking spiritual things to relieve their immediate suffering. Ending up with an apostate one world church complete with miracles and promises to take care of the global society’s woes, the dreams of global conquest and of world dominion will become actualized one day soon by a world leader and his spiritual partner.
Revelation 13: 11-13
“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a
lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,”
In the life of each one of us there is still time to set the solid unchanging truth of the Word of God as the anchor of our soul. There is no other plan of salvation but the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who died on the cross to save individual sinners. The spiritual truth found in the Word shows us a holy God who wants to lift us up and make us like Him because of His great love for us. We have a Lord and Savior that laid down His life for us while we were yet sinners:
Romans 5: 8
”But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
We need the Lord more than ever before. A zeal for God based on religion void of salvation through Jesus Christ is false. It will not save any one in the end. When speaking about the Israelites and their continued trust in the law Paul wrote:
“Romans 10: 2-4
”For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”
The problem, I believe, is that the God that we are being shown is not a righteous and a holy God. He is changeable with new revelations for a new day. Acting contrary to the unchanging Word of God, we are even redefining what is sin and what is not sin. Because of continued compromise, He is not shown to us as holy and so He will not ultimately judge sin. He forgives it and understands it. We get the idea that the God we serve is comfortable with us. It is okay if we “mess up” because grace bounds. The God we are being shown just wants to build a united Kingdom here on earth. He is with us to change a global society. We have made Him too common. We have introduced God as changeable for a changing world with changeable standards. This is spiritual seduction.
However, the Lord God is holy. He wants to lift us up so that we can be more like Him, but all we seem to want to do is to bring Him down to our level. Yes, He loves us even when we sin but He doesn’t want to leave us in our sinful unforgiven state. His grace abounds because we do not deserve such love. If we confess sin, He will forgive it. Then, through His grace and mercy, cleans us from all of our unrighteousness. (1John 1: 9). He died for individual sinners not corporate kingdoms. He wants to save and clean every individual.
2Corinthians 6: 16-18
“And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”
Another problem is that His awesome holiness is being lost in a culture of permissiveness. In a culture in which even some of our spiritual leaders are being given a “free pass”, they demonstrate their loose lifestyle to their doting body of believers who, in turn, reach out to them in permissive “Christian” love and understanding. All people have a tendency to follow their leaders. If the church leadership changes the definition of sin or feels that they never personally have a need to repent of their sin, then they may not even realize the destructiveness of it.
Satan wants to destroy them and also everyone around them. The spirit of antichrist is at work.
Matthew 15: 14
”Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.”
In our culture, many love famous people. I think of Michael Jackson. This example in the world is a good one. He had problems that he solved with drugs to help him sleep but because he was so rich and powerful as a pop artist he never got the true help he needed. Instead of never getting real help, he found the one doctor enamored by his fame and fortune who would “bow” to his whims and offer him a false hope. He did give him all the drugs that he wanted to kill his pain and help him sleep but at what cost? He never had to confront whatever was the real problem and it killed him in the end. That is what sin does to the Christian who will not deal with it in the proper way, the one who listens to the smooth words of the apostate church. Here is Satan's plan:
James 1: 15
“Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.”
Our nation, with its many who claim to be a Christian, is not bearing Christian fruit so we know there is a national crisis. We have killed many babies on the altar of self-gratification. We have changed the definition of marriage so that the Bible verse for a husband to love his wife as Christ loved the church does not apply. The new definition takes the spiritual meaning out of marriage in our land and changes it into a “civil union” for political gain. There are murders galore and bizarre happenings everywhere. As the differences between right and wrong become increasingly indistinct, the judgment of a holy God inches even closer. How much longer is He willing to stretch out His hand calling to those in our country in mercy and forgiveness before this judgment begins? In chaos, how many in our land are going to turn around and repent? We certainly have not suffered like those in other places around the world.
The lines are even now being drawn. Although deceptively blurred, the gap between the true believer and the false is going to become even wider in the end times. This gap will create a choice to be made and it is even now happening. Many that truly love the Lord could be discouraged and dismayed by what is going on around them but we know that what Jesus said would happen is happening. We can see it and we are excited. The days ahead will be hard but our Lord is coming and we are privileged to live in these end times.
How much longer do we have as believers until we face persecution from an increasingly godless world? With what is going on around us, I fear that the compromised church may not be ready for what is going to happen in the not-too-distant future. Jesus said:
John 15: 20
“Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.”
The Bible says that “the carnal mind is enmity against God” in Romans 8: 7. The world will never be able to understand the Christian if the Christian is living his faith in everyday life. We are not perfect but each day we strive to please our Lord and that desire for godliness drives the decisions we make and the thoughts that
motivate our actions. That is why we will become increasingly more unpopular. As
the antichrist spirit takes a firmer hold and the societal gap widens for the saints in the days ahead, the true believer will not fit in the new world order. All claiming to be Christians will be forced to choose.
I suspect some of the church in its current state of disarray is not considering the holiness of God neither is there an attempt to do so. Riddled with compromise by the antichrist spirit to please the masses, this church needs to know that the kingdom of God will never be obtained through carnal and fleshly exploits. We will never be able to measure up to the standards of a holy God by our our own craft, human greatness, and ingenuity. For the Christian, there should always be the desire to live a life pleasing to a just and holy God. How can I desire to be anything else but like my Father? We must keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ. The great Apostle Paul said:
2 Corinthians 3:18
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image, from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord".
I am left with some final thoughts from the Word of God.
Phillipians 3: 10
“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;”
1 John 3: 2-3
"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.”
Our God is holy and our Savior sinless. If the cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ is not the center of our faith, then when all else is stripped away there will not be anything on which to stand. Those who will not cling to “the old rugged cross” will not be able to exchange it someday for a crown.
With Love In Jesus Name,
