Christmas is a time that some people think of hope and love and family. Many give and begin to reflect on the important things in their lives. Many others think of those things that they have lost: the people that are no longer with them and situations that seem more overwhelming during the holiday season. But Jesus Christ is the reason that many of us have set aside this time to remember his birth. As our society changes and the world in which we live is transformed, so are our belief systems being subjected to the same. Christmas is now being questioned more than ever before. The end times are upon us. Christians are being force-fed new morals, beliefs, and standards for living that were unheard of just a few years ago.
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”
Jesus came into the world born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Ghost. That is what Christians believe. We do not have an exact birthday, but Christmas Day has come to be the time in which we as Christians set aside that special day to honor the birth of our Lord. It is "Christmas".
The attacks on Christmas have always been there. Perhaps it is because there is not an exact day written in which we can claim his birth. Some believe He was actually born in the fall to correspond to the Feast of Tabernacles, making it September or October. Putting that aside, at this time in our human existence we have attached December 25 as the current date in which we honor Him coming to dwell among mankind. Regardless of history, this is according to the dictates of cultural Christianity in America and also adopted in many places around the world.
Taking away Jesus Christ is a spiritual feat that goes far beyond human understanding. The point of taking away Jesus from the Christmas celebration is not about anything else but the attempt of the god of this world (Satan) to strip the real Jesus Christ from the hearts and minds of men. He tried to kill Jesus through Herod right after he was born and failed. In these end times, It is part of the slippery slope of that seducing spirit of the Antichrist. Satan is still trying to encourage man to deny their Lord. Satan soon is approaching his final hour. He will fight until the bitter end, according to the Word of God.
A good way to eradicate the real Christ of Christmas is to introduce a new one that is more appealing to the masses. It is the beautiful concept of a universal, one world church that accepts faith as part of the universal plan for mankind. A new Jesus. We can all unite for the common good no matter what religion you are. The atheist makes many people upset, but the Jesus that loves and approves of everyone regardless of what they believe and how they live makes everyone feel warm inside…Your Jesus and my Jesus may be different but that will not matter. Let's just all love each other. The word is "celebrate our differences". It is a seducing concept. This lovely video shows that.
So, who is the real Jesus? He is God. What did the real Jesus do that the reconstituted one could not? He paid the price for sin. The Muslim Jesus did not do that. The Muslim Jesus is not God to them either. The various Christian cults also give different attributes to Jesus. The Jews are still awaiting their Messiah and they are bound by their laws and traditions until then. One day some will accept Him. Most of the religions of the world are following a set of laws or requirements and acknowledge Jesus as a good man or teacher of some kind. The common thread of all religions is good works even though the applications may be different. But we can never be good enough to blot out sin. It was John the Baptist who said of Jesus:
“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" John 1: 29.
Please take note. Soon there will come one who will in some way unite all religions into a common faith. You will worship out of either love or submission, but worship you will. You will be forced to turn your back on the real Jesus. The sad thing is that for many that will not be hard to do. For many others they cannot ever do that even if it would cost their very lives.
With Love In Jesus Name,
